The sun is sinking slowly down upon my little private acre

where she heard all the people were brothers

They had peace everywhere, they had beautiful air

Well, the lady from Mars, she was in for a big disappointment

From the air the big city looked so shiny and pretty

But when she saw the pollution she said "what a pity!

You see the trees are real green here

But there is something obscene here

Well its just not very clean here,

And the people, they scream here …..at each other….

 

You see she just didn’t get it

How could they let it

fall to pieces this way -

the planet she saw here today

she didn’t like to admit it but she could see the new world on its way

 

And the trees were all bare there

They had dirty air there

They just didn’t care there

and the space lady couldn’t bear to stay!

 

So the lady from mars headed back for the stars and she wont be back here for a while

See the lady from space got a slap in the face coming here

She thought we had more style

But if we all work together now it don’t have to go from bad to worse

We can clean up this business

Be the hot spot of the universe
