FLAGLER BEACH -  Singer-guitarist Elizabeth Roth studied classical guitar at Stetson University in Deland.

But the Jacksonville native cites influences other than Bach, Mozart and classical guitar legend Andre Segovia on her music - influences that include such pop and rock songbirds as Phoebe Snow, Carly Simon, Mary Chapin-Carpenter, Joan Baez and even blues-rock screamer Janis Joplin.

Now a Saint Augustine resident, Roth will perform from 6:30-9:30 p.m. today at the Golden Lion Cafe, 500 N. A1A. There's no ccover. For more information, call (386) 439-3004.

Among Roth's varied repertoire are songs by the Beatles ("In My Life," "Blackbird"), Fiona Apple ("Criminal"), Led Zeppelin ("the Rain Song"), Ani DiFranco, Duke Ellington, the Ink Spots, Bruce Springsteen, Shania Twain and the Supremes.
